Emissions Repair Bay

Welcome to Air Care Colorado's vehicle emissions repair website.

February 2008 - New Repair scores are out...

The new issue of the Emissions Repair Guide is out. Check it out and find out how well your shop scores on emissions repairs.

Hours at the Air Care Colorado centralized emissions testing centers are 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays.

State law eliminated emissions window stickers in Colorado in July 2001. Vehicles getting an emissions test no longer have a new sticker placed on the windshield.

Want to know what the chances are of emissions test failure are by model year for passenger vehicles and for light trucks? We've posted the 1999 data. Take a look.

Emissions repair has become a high-technology business, with newer, high-technology emissions tests requiring a knowledge of computer diagnostics. Training is available to rev up your skills in diagnosing I/M 240 emissions-related failures. It's not just tune-ups, oil changes and fuel mixtures anymore!

Air Care Colorado sponsors a repair hotline service. Techs with I/M 240 repair questions can call 1-800-AIR-1201 and get answers. There is a $2.25 per minute charge on this phone line.
