Air Care Colorado Emissions Testing Centers close due to extreme cold

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 1, 2002

Due to the extreme cold, all of the centralized emissions stations in the Denver-Boulder area will close down, effective at 11 a.m. We've had problems all morning with equipment freezing, resulting in numerous lane closures. In addition, we are concerned about the safety of our employees, who work outdoors. We expect to be open regular hours on Saturday, March 2.
